In a tweet, she wrote,

“Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience. I talk about my roots and how a girl from the South Side found her voice. I hope my journey inspires readers o find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can’t wait to share my story.”

Now for me personally, I have been inspired by and I aspire to be a little more like Michelle Obama on a daily basis (which sometimes is hard because she is perfect & don't debate me.)
